This is not an all-inclusive resort, but the on-site restaurant is excellent, and the bar is open all day. Daily breakfast is included with your stay, along with filtered water (replenished daily), additional beverages, and small snacks in each room. We’ll be hosting a welcome dinner/pool party with an open bar on Friday, followed by the reception dinner and open bar on Saturday. Outside of these events, we highly recommend trying the local Tulum cuisine – it’s amazing!

The resort offers a wide range of activities on the property, including kayaking, paddleboarding, on-site cenotes, biking, an underground cave tour, yoga, and more, all included with your stay. For a full list of activities, please visit the resort’s website.

Closer to the event, we will help coordinate with the venue to arrange certain activities (cave tour, bike tour, etc.) if you are interested. Please feel free to reach out to us ahead of time if you already know you would like to participate.

(We highly recommend the underground cave tour, it is a very unique and amazing experience)

Children are welcome! However, the bride and groom are offering provided nanny services during the reception for those with children 10 and under. Please let us know if you would like to use this service.

We recommend booking your stay as soon as you're comfortable. The resort grounds will be exclusive to our wedding guests from February 26 - February 28, 2026.

Guests who choose to stay at the Wakax Hacienda for the full 3-night duration will receive a 30% discount. If you'd like to extend your stay before or after these dates, the original nightly rate, as listed in our room block spreadsheet, will apply. Please do not book directly through the website.

After reviewing the room options in the spreadsheet linked under the RSVP tab, please email your desired room number and stay dates to: Reservas@wakaxhacienda.com with the subject line “Patrick and Candice’s Wedding.”

Once your reservation is confirmed, Wakax Hacienda will send you a payment link with the total amount in pesos, including your discounted rate.

Several options are available for getting around Tulum. We recommend doing your research to avoid the usual tourist scams. Below is what we have gathered from online reviews and our own experience. *Research expected taxi prices and negotiate, taxi’s typically attempt to up-charge tourists.

1. Car rentals - would recommend booking directly and not using a third party site. Mexico car insurance is required, final rental quote should include this. There has been a known issue with certain rental car companies not honoring the initial negotiated price and up-charging upon arrival. We do recommend against driving after sundown based on transportation reviews.

2. Contact the hotel directly to negotiate and arrange taxi transportation to and from the airport. They are also able to arrange transportation from the venue to other sites if you wish to sightsee during your stay. *This is a pricier option.

3. ADO bus - download the ADO app and purchase tickets. Transportation from the airport to town and you are able to then take a taxi from town to the venue. More affordable than direct taxi transport from the airport.
